Dog Walker Manchester – Angel & Rubi Pet Care
In this article I wanted to talk about a new Manchester Dog Walking and Pet Sitting service. Called Angel & Rubi Pet Care, they cover the South Manchester area. The owner Mandi recently approached me asking if I would consider designing her website.
Manchester Dog Walking Service
Mandi already has a number of dog walking clients. She offers both solo and group walks though she stresses that group sizes are kept to a maximum of 3 dogs so that she can give as much personal attention as possible to each dog. Solo dog walks are ideal for nervous or anxious dogs who may not be suited to a pack walk. Manchester dog owners are kept regularly updated by Mandi both verbally but also via photos and videos she takes of the dogs having fun out in local parks and woods.
Even though most customers require dog walks between Monday and Friday, Mandi is happy to offer her dog walking service 7 days a week. Not all dog walkers will work 7 days a week!
Manchester Pet Sitting Service
Angel and Rubi Pet Care also offer a professional and reliable pet sitter service. Again fully insured by Cliverton, Mandi is also DBS security checked. This gives pet owners extra peace of mind when both trusting someone to care for your pets but also when giving someone a key to your property.
Dog Sitting
There are a number of reasons why you might require a dog sitter. Those dog owners who work full time will often have a regular dog walker who provides the physical and mental stimulation a dog needs. Sometimes though a dog might be recovering from an operation and is unable to join walks. Such dogs will still need a chance to go to the toilet though as well as some company to break up their day until you get home.
There are also times when an owner knows they will be away from home for longer than they like. It could be a work or family function that means you will be late home. In such circumstances a dog sitter can visit and give your dog their meal, a toilet break and some attention. It should be noted that Angel & Rubi Pet Care do not currently offer any overnight dog boarding services. This is mostly because Mandi is the primary carer for two of her own dogs which she cannot leave. They also don’t offer a dog day care service.
Cat Sitting
Cat Sitting is a very popular service within Manchester. Cats are sometimes more independent than dogs which access to the outside from a cat flap. Owners will sometimes have to go away on holiday and will want some care for their cat. A cattery is one option but some owners feel their cat will be much happier in their own environment. Two 30 minutes visits a day to feed, clean a litter tray and give some company is all some cats need.
Puppy Visits
Pet sitting requests will sometimes take the form of puppy visits. A new puppy won’t be able to join dog walks straight away. Even after they are fully vaccinated their bones are growing quickly which means they aren’t really suited to the possible hustle and bustle of a group walk. Everything is new to a puppy and they won’t have the recall or manners that they will learn as they develop with the possible help of puppy classes. Sometimes all a puppy needs during the middle of the day is a visit from a pet carer who will give them some garden time, feed them (a puppy will often still be on 3 or 4 meals a day) and perhaps clean any accidents they might have had on puppy pads.
Mandi has lots of experience dealing with puppies. Often those who she has looked after in the past gravitate to become part of her dog walks when they are old enough.
